Manuel Haumer was born into a musical Austro-Colombian family in 2006. He began playing percussion at the age of 5.
He has been a member of the Vienna Volksoper Children’s Choir since 2014 and is already performing solos. 2016 he gave his solo debut as the „Spirit“ in the Opera „Jephtha“ by Georg Friedrich Händel at the Festival Retz in Austria. Manuel also performed in the plays „Tararabumbia“ (2014) and „Der ideale Gatte“ (2016), in which he performed in as part of the festival „Wiener Festwochen“.
A major event in 2016 was his participation as a soloist in Verdi’s „Macbeth“ together with Plácido Domingo at the Theater an der Wien.
He is the third of four brothers and loves to play football.
